Best bookstore in the world...



Maastricht, Germany - An ancient church has been transformed into an awe-inspiring bookshop. Merkx & Girod, the Architects, designed a three storey black steel book shelf, accessible by a lift and stairs, and also giving a wonderful view of the nave of the church. Since it's closure the church had been used as a warehouse and an enormous bike car park.
